Changes to appointment services – COVID-19


 Due to the current pandemic of coronavirus, with effect from Monday 16th March access to medical care at Shephall Health Centre has changed. This is supported by the recommended guidance from NHS England. Our main priority is to keep our patients safe.


If you are experiencing symptoms of a cough or/ and fever greater than 37.8C, please follow NHS England guidance and self-isolate for 7 days.


All pre-booked appointments are now suspended. If you already have a pre-booked appointment, one of the team will be in touch to see how we can help. No appointments will be booked by the reception team for walk-in patients. Do not turn up at the surgery, as you will be turned away for clinical triage first.


Please go online to to use our online consultation tool. THIS IS THE EASIEST AND FASTEST WAY to contact our team for any queries and requests.


If you do not have internet access, please phone the surgery and your details will be passed to a member of the clinical team to give you a call back by telephone consultation.


This situation changes frequently and we will be updating this information as necessary. This level of precaution is unprecedented within primary care, please be understanding at this time.
